This concert closes the first day of the University of South Dakota’s 2025 Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies Conference, the theme of which is: “Do Something: Practice and Power.” The program features nine works by female composers, performed by USD faculty and staff. With music from 1730 to the present, this concert explores the extraordinary contributions women have made to music historically, as well as today.

Featuring the NMM's 1901 Mason & Hamlin grand piano, a Thomas & Barbara Wolf harpsichord after a 1707 instrument by Nicolas Dumont, and an 1882 German cello in Baroque setup.
